General Information:

1. Meetings: Once the Club becomes more established we will hold planned meetings. As of now, we are awaiting more people to be added to our contact list.

2. Classifieds: We will be posting want ads for paddle gear and boats. This is an area that will be moderated closely. The item for sale does not have to be owned by a member to be posted. Contact Brian for a posting bne@bellsouth.net .

3. Where to paddle: Where is a good place to paddle? This question has too many possibilities to cover in an email. If your question is very detailed and specific someone will attempt to answer it. Contact Brian bne@bellsouth.net . In the future there may be a link for good related resources.

4. Club Logic: The purpose of this "club" is to offer more paddling opportunities for people in our region. It is said so many times that "I" or "we" never have anyone to paddle with or "I wish I knew of a different place to paddle". The "club", hopefully, will remedy this by allowing a list of contacts to be alerted of a trip when someone has planned one. There are no fees or applications to become a member. Just ask to be included on our email contact list (which will only be used to announce "Flash Paddles" (spur-of-the-moment trip) and updates worth noting. To join, simply type "sign me up" in the subject line of an email and send it to bne@bellsouth.net . That's it, you're a member.

5. Properly equipped: Having the proper gear. Whether you are leading a trip or following a trip leader you should be properly equipped. PFD and drinking water should be included for every trip. As a club we too would expect everyone to maintain there own trash. You should also bring snacks or meals depending on the length of the trip.

Comments:
**** Do not assume that a trip leader is trained in any aspect of the sport including first aide. There may be planned trips in the future with trained individuals but that will be posted. Therefore you are considered to be paddling at your own risk.
